Do you have an Ideal Life Vision? Meet Ann Webb

Re-blogged with edits fromShanon Brooks with permissionPosted: 23 Apr 2015 01:21 PM PDT

Ann-Webb-headshot-300x300 15 years ago, Dr. Shanon Brooks sat in the living room of a female student.  She was a mother of 5 and had an idea she wanted to share with him.She was shy and nervous. She fumbled and struggled to share what was in her heart. He praised her for the effort and thought little of it.
To his surprise, a decade and 1/2 later, Ann Webb is the owner of 2 businesses earning a multiple seven-figure income, has a happy and fulfilling family life, is having real impact with her LifeVision students in Africa, and is a founding mentor in the Conscious Creator Mentoring Network.
In a recent telephone conversation he asked about her mission and she said, “The best part of what I do is seeing hundreds and thousands of lives change and transform as they begin using Ideal LifeVision in their daily routine.  You see, in my experience, most people that I meet are unhappy with the results in their lives and at some point they express this burning desire to re-invent themselves.

‘Why? It’s very simple, they don’t have the body they want, the money they want, or the relationships they want.  And even though this is the reality for most people, that ability to change the status quo and create the life they have always dreamed of appears impossible.
‘Because the truth is, they have no idea how to get clear on what they want or even why the things they’ve tried in the past have failed to deliver the results they were seeking. So over the past seven years, I’ve had the chance to guide thousands of people from all over the world through the sometimes rocky journey of living their ideal life.”

It is time to raise the consciousness of the planet.  This network is still in its introductory phase, and new content is being added almost daily.  Soon we will be an international presence.  Instead of displacing so many personal coaches and mentors with a product, we are bringing them all under one roof, and giving YOU a platform to get mentored.  There are so many areas that are of interest to people on this network.  And if you are like me, being coached or taking a  class helps me push myself to greater heights.

And this has everything to do with freedom.  Our liberty is being run by those with money and power and knowledge.  It is time we turn the tables and raise ourselves up, become better so that we have the people around us who can see the vision of the future, where people in  America and around the world are the humanitarians, philanthropists, and statesmen we need.  IT JUST MIGHT BE YOU!

War on Drugs, War on Poverty, War on …. Whatever

Society often creates wars on things they don’t want, like the “War on Drugs,” the “War on Poverty,” the “Fight Against Illiteracy,” the “War on Teenage Pregnancy,” etc.  Politics are rank with fighting, infighting, figure pointing, and nonsense.

How can any organization or individual proclaiming the desire for change create change, when they are really only focusing on what they don’t want.

While studying Wallace Wattles, The Science of Abundance,  written long before “The Secret” came about, there is a very good explanation about how people create more of what they don’t want when they give it their attention.

Things are not brought into being by thinking about their opposites.  Health is never to be attained by studying disease and thinking about disease; righteousness in not to be promoted by studying sin and thinking about sin; and no one ever got rich by studying poverty and thinking about poverty.

I recently received an email from a fellow 9-12er in another state.  Her goal was to create a rally against Radical Islam.  I thought about what I had been learning.  Her next email was that she didn’t receive many responses.  I certainly hadn’t responded to her idea.  But then I wrote to her.  I explained that if she wanted to create a rally, maybe she could focus on what she actually wants.  Muslims, Christians, Jews, etc standing for Peace.  Uniting instead of dividing.

I recognize that sometimes we have to call things by what they are, but often still focus the wrong direction to eliminate it.  When people focus on the issue instead of the principle, they do not solve problems.  When we looked at the Tytler Cycle earlier in this blog, we recognize that when people focus on the issues it keeps society on the wrong side of the cycle.  When we focus on the principles, we create faith, liberty, and abundance.

The World’s Terminology                      Abundance Terminology

Fight Against Illiteracy                                  Advancement of Wide-Spread Education

Educating Children to Compete                  Inspiring Children to Create

War on Drugs                                                  Creating an Emotionally Healthy Society

War on Teenage Pregnancy                         Empowerment of Virtuous Youth

War on Poverty                                               Teaching Abundance

War on Terror                                                 Spreading Principles of Liberty

Can the world really drive out what they don’t want by focusing on the problem?

In another post, we looked at the schools in my area teaching a class on “White Privilege.”  Read more about that here.  But to sum it up, we cannot teach children they are racist to eliminate racism.  We must teach children how to recognize friendship and similarities. To become inclusive through finding common ground.  By recognizing difference and finding beauty in them.

Recently Mia Love, of Utah, joined the Republican Black Caucus.  mia love black caucusI’m not sure what the point of that organization is except to say you are not allowed unless your skin color is black.  How dividing is that?  It isn’t based on anything except how you were born.  It is not on the content of your character but the color of your skin.  This is the polar opposite of what Martin Luther King Jr. stood for.  He didn’t stand “against” the white man.  He stood for ALL men to become better individuals, be judged for what they create and do, not their color of their skin.

light-beam-in-dark-roomLet’s look at what we know.  If you come into a dark room and switch on the light, the darkness is gone.  Can you bring darkness into a lit room?  Can you  extinguish light with darkness?  It only works ONE DIRECTION.  Light ALWAYS dispels the darkness.  Darkness is the absence of light.

As a proponent of liberty and abundance, my goal is to help those of us promoting liberty and abundance to focus on those things.  I have watched as many 9-12 groups, tea party groups, and political groups become negative.  They have stopped standing for principles of liberty, and they have begun fighting against this or that issue.  It will never have the result you want.

Liberty is spread by education.  Abundance is spread by the teaching of abundance principles. Wattles also stated,

The very best thing you can do for the whole world is to make the most of yourself.  You can serve God and man in no more effective way than by…the creative method and not by the competitive one.

Change will occur in America when Americans have more to protect, and are not just fed and entertained (bread and circuses).  fishIt is time to raise our fellow-man by not giving them the fish, but teaching them how to make the net (or pole), find the best fishing hole, teach them to fish, and most importantly, teach them how to believe they deserve to catch as many fish as they desire.

The Overton Window of Property Rights in America

Excellent article by Jared Wolfe in Beaver, Utah.

Beaver County STAR Forum

The Overton Window is a concept that describes a narrow window along the political spectrum that contains the ideas the public will accept. This window can be anywhere from total anarchy to total state control. Here in America I think our Overton Window of property rights is too close to the total state control end of the political spectrum. That probably doesn’t sit well with most people who think of themselves as staunch supporters of property rights. I am willing to bet that the perception of acceptable property rights for most Americans fall somewhere in the socialism section of the political spectrum.

I will present a scenario and you decide which person is the property owner, and which is not. “John” lives in a house on some property. He is free to make changes to the house or add additional buildings on the lot as long as he gets permission…

To “Lee” or Not to “Lee,” That is the Question

Mike Lee2

The attacks on Senator Mike Lee have been steady and well thought out.  This is a tactical strategy put out by those who want to take away his seat.  It all begins with Bob Bennett, Mike Leavitt and his CMV group, Thomas Wright (who is considering a run against Lee), and helped with the backing of the Romney’s, with the Mitt Romney anti-Mike Lee rants put out in his recent tour around the state.  Top that off with a polling company that uses data from a focus group that wants to make YOU feel that this is all real.  We will go down that rabbit hole another time.   (Quinn Monson)

Now, those are all well-known names.  You trust them, right?

Well, you shouldn’t.

What is in it for you?  Nothing.  What is in it for them?   Power!  Let’s be honest, this isn’t Republican or Democrat either.  After Bob Bennett lost to Mike Lee and Tim Bridgewater, we had a primary, and Mike Lee won that.

Then Bob Bennett’s son went on the campaign for the Democrat in the race.  That is funny.

Bob Bennett, photo courtesy of newscom/upiphotosSo don’t think the Republican ideals really mean that much to many in the party.  They don’t.  But the power … that means something, and they will do anything to maintain it.  The people can and should take this power back.

Here’s the deal.  Mike Lee is a constitutional scholar.  He isn’t playing the DC game, and all sides of the aisle are frustrated by that.  He was actually elected to end The Affordable Care Act, commonly known as Obamacare.  Stop it however he could.  Defund it, Repeal it.  That was the message from the people in Utah.  And many others in the nation really appreciate what he has done.  Read this article here.

Or listen to this quote: “Scheffler, Iowa’s GOP National Committeeman, said the group was looking for someone who hadn’t been to Iowa already and who does not “wilt under political pressure and is willing to stand up” for constitutional principles.” Found in the article here.

This government shut down isn’t because of Mike Lee.  It’s because the Democrats won’t even vote on the 9 compromises being offered by the House. This has happened 18 times in our history.  And it usually ends with government being more responsible to it’s citizens.

Now, what is in this for Mike Lee?  Think about it.  He is going to have a huge fight to maintain his seat.  He could sit comfortably back and do nothing, get along with all the Republicans, and have a chance at a long career in politics.  Or, he could actually “Stand for Something.”  That phrase should sound familiar to those who are members of his faith.  They have been admonished by our past prophet Gordan B. Hinckley to stand.  Mike Lee is standing on high moral ground when he stands for the Constitution and the rights of the citizens of these United States.  I hope he keeps standing.

The goal of the people putting out the articles, creating the attacks, and starting an initiative known as Count My Vote, is about power.  That’s it.  The Republican establishment lost power in 2010 when Bob Bennett was systematically removed from power after following the Republican led TARP bailouts.

So many people should have gone to jail on Wall Street, so many people should have paid for their blatant disregard of the free markets and the backroom, government/business deals.  The market was correcting.  That was actually a good thing.  Sometimes the markets need to correct.  We need to be in balance, and that was starting to happen.  However, the scary, dooms-day rhetoric of the Republicans led by Ben Bernanke at the head of the Federal Reserve, said we “HAD TO”, or our way of life would end.  Well maybe for a few people at the top of the food (aristocratic) chain.  Maybe for the people at Goldman Sachs.  They actually had the guts to say that Main Street had to have these bailouts on Wall Street.  I was trading the market when AIG received it’s $80 Billion bailout.  And there were so many more to come.

That’s where is started.  Then Obama was elected President.  Obamacare became a huge issue.  Everyone knew that Bennett had proposed a similar bill and it was distasteful for the Republicans.  We had sat on the sidelines, allowing the powers that be to control our system in Utah.  We stood up.  We took notice.  We wanted to understand how to change the system.  A group known as “Club for Growth” came forward.  They wanted Bob Bennett out, and so they simply taught everyday citizens the Utah system.  The Caucus or the Neighborhood Election.  Brilliant.

So now that the Republican Establishment couldn’t get their way, they needed to figure out how to beat the system.  They flooded the caucuses with their people to elect Orrin Hatch for ANOTHER (too many to count) term.  It worked.  But it was SO expensive.  They felt that a primary would have been so much easier.  It’s easy to fool most of the people in Utah with catchy ads, big name endorsements, and lost of name recognition.

Now, the people of Utah are not fools, but we are busy.  We have lives.  We have soccer games, jobs, stress, grocery shopping, church responsibilities, and frankly most of the time, politics isn’t a fun topic.  It can be negative and draining.

So a brilliant system was put in place.  The Neighborhood elections.  The neighbors get together once every two years and hold a meeting (a caucus), and they decide amongst themselves in like-minded meetings (Democrats, Republicans, Constitution Party etc, each in their own meetings) who they would like to have represent their neighborhood on the ballot.

We are busy.  We trust our neighbors.  So we elect them.  Now, they get to really get to know all of these candidates.  From National offices like Congress and Senate, to state offices like Governor, State Legislator, and State Senator.  Right down to the Sheriffs office.  Some people are elected as county representative’s called county “delegates” and others are elected as state “delegates.”  What a beautiful thing…a Republic.

Now, you get to go on with your busy life, go to soccer games, be the Scout leader, do your job, mow your lawn, etc.  And you have someone in your neighborhood that will “vet” all of these candidates.  Slick ads and endorsements won’t be deciding.  Someone will have a chance to meet with all of these candidates and hear them on multiple occasions.  They will see through the rhetoric right to the heart of a person (most of the time.)

You see, Orrin Hatch thought he’d stacked those caucuses so well, and guess what, he did.  But then, those delegates got to know him.  They learned there was a lot more to the picture than what the mainstream media puts out there.  They started looking at his voting record.  Some of them, a lot of them, changed their minds.  He had to go to a primary anyway, even after putting in over $2 million before convention.

CMV sounds good on the surface.  Give the “people” the chance to have their vote heard.  But that’s the amazing thing.  You are heard.  You are heard louder because you have elected someone to represent you from your neighborhood.  You have a true Republic.  Now, I know the LDS church is not getting involved either way on the CMV front, but I would like to quote the LDS church’s official statement from last year.

“Precinct caucuses are the most fundamental grassroots level of political involvement. They are best served by a broad representation of Utah citizens. Those who attend play a critical role in selecting candidates for public office.”

If you read their statement, they talk about the declining attendance of the caucuses.  We’ve heard all of the rhetoric about how caucus attendance has dwindled.  Funny, nobody had a problem with low caucus attendance when they had their way.  The more people who show up, the more people are heard, and the harder it is to fool some of the people all of the time. I don’t know where their information came from but here are the numbers for you.

Year Total Attending Up/Down %
2002 28,207
2004 22,511 -20.19%
2006 34,563 53.54%
2008 23,550 -31.86%
2010 54,841 132.87%
2012 111,944 104.12%

Are you seeing those numbers?  Look at the increase in attendance in 2010 when Lee was elected.  And then again it went up over 100% in 2012.  That is a huge increase since 2002.  That is a 375% increase since 2008.  And I believe it will continue to rise.

The Establishment wants to take the “grassroots” out of the picture.  They know that most people will vote in a primary based on simple sound bites, simple name recognition, catchy slogans, or endorsements.  Principles will be gone, and money will reign.  YOU are the grassroots, and they want to silence that voice.

Read this article about “Big Money Backers.”  That is who wants to take over.  Big Money.

We have a real issue here, and it isn’t “tea party” or “radical” or anything else. Aligning yourself with our founding documents, our Constitution is not extreme. These are Republicans that are getting educated.  These are Republicans that have watched their country go down the tubes under both sides of the aisle.  These are regular people with jobs, and a mortgage, and kids that need braces, that are tired, and we’ve stood up to our “masters” known as the Federal government, and we’ve said, “Enough!”  And these are Republicans that have begun to see the Democrats eye to eye on civil liberties issues.  Amazing, not radical.

Don’t sign CMV, don’t buy into the trap of the media that are trying to eliminate Mike Lee.  This is the establishment trying to fool you.  Support Mike Lee, because he supports the Constitution.  He isn’t perfect, but everyone who is throwing their hat into the ring has an agenda.  Power.  That’s it.

This is a Fourth Turning.  The time to change things is now.  Leaders stand against all odds.  I was told by a friend that Mike would throw away his political career.  Maybe he has.  But he is a hero.

If you don’t like Mike, show up to caucus.  The caucus system is becoming more and more inclusive all the time.  The SCC (State Central Committee) is working tirelessly on efforts to make everyone feel welcome.  This is your neighborhood.   Make your voice heard.  But do not buy into the garbage of Count My Vote and the media.  They want to take your voice.

To hear how this is happening on a national scale, listen to this.  Glenn Beck fan or not, please realize that the intimidation is real.  We are making a difference, and the establishment is scared.

“First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win.” —  Mahatma Gandhi

Today, What is Your Sacred Duty?

Today, you may have to walk across the street, or drive to a fire station, or visit a library, or possibly another public place and cast your ballot.  This is your sacred duty.  This is what separates us from the parts of the world in chaos.  When we want to change things, we peacefully go to the polls.

We have watched our country slide down into socialism for the last 80 years, and we have reached a point of alignment in our country.  Either you are on the side of liberty, or you are on the side of socialism.  Today, show your side.  There are good Democrats, good Republicans, and

Krige as the Borg Queen in First Contact

Image via Wikipedia

good Independents running in races all over the nation.  However, weed out the Progressives, the Marxists, the Collective thinkers … the Borg

The tea parties, 9.12ers, and other like-minded groups have set out to not start a third-party, but to restore the parties to a place of integrity again.  We have not accomplished this task completely, but have made huge headway.  Now the people will have to decide if those that are on the ballot are worthy of their trust.  And once in office, must be watched with vigilance.

Many have given their lives, their fortunes, and held true their sacred honor for you to be able to enjoy this privilege.  If ever lost, your lifetime may end before you see the restoration of these liberties.   Robert Morris understood well, what those words meant.  Read about him and his sacrifice for our country.  He gave his entire fortune, and then some.

Call a friend, take the bus, get a ride, but get out and vote.  Do it as if your liberty depends on it, because it does.  This is only the beginning.  We will continue to clean our houses and rid them of the dangers that are within.  We love our Founding Fathers.  We love the document they created in Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution of these United States.  We are America; land of the free, and home of the brave.

FREEDOM CAN WIN!

Guilty Until Proven Innocent

Banking regulations put forth by the Patriot Act, and other “safety acts” that follow have long been a huge frustration of mine.  But this week, it all came home for me.  I have been concerned that all of my money is in “one place.”  Since that time, I have been taking money in cash.  I have not gone over the $10,000 threshold that flags the IRS, but I still caused a RED FLAG to fly.

I received a letter from my bank where I have been banking for over 17 years, telling me that if I did not comply with their questioning I would have my account closed.

It’s the Minority Report.  Guilty until proven innocent?  That’s what the man on the phone with the bank told me.  I was guilty until I explained myself.  Of course, the fact that I am a U.S. Citizen and have committed NO CRIME does not matter.  They just do not like how it “looks” and so they want to know what I am doing with my money.  This seems like the law is in direct violation of my Fourth Amendment.  Granted nothing was searched or seized, but I was questioned, and it is really no ones business.  I realize I still have the freedom to leave their bank, and even have the freedom to use no bank at all, but there are conveniences to being tied to the grid, lets face it.

However, what did they think I was doing?  Starting a militia, peddling drugs, or selling something illegal like… raw milk?  Some suspicious activity I’m sure.  Well I’m not., and just because I’m a 9.12er, and have gone to Tea Party rallies, own a pocket Constitution, and have Americana home décor doesn’t make me a domestic terrorist.

This caused me to realize the thing that is missing from our society the most is, plain old living.  No one wants to allow us to just live, make mistakes, and grow.

I thought about Franklin’s famous quote, Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”

After 9.11, we gave up many liberties with the Patriot Act, and similar acts that followed.

So, here we are, living in a world where we are being protected by every expert known to man.  We have financial experts at the Federal Reserve.  We have Medical Experts that know that government health care is the only safe way to insure our country. We have Department of Education experts in Washington, D.C. that know what the people of Utah (and everywhere else) should be teaching, we have Legislators, and Congressmen who think they have risen above the masses, and are now qualified to legislate the redistribution of wealth because Americans won’t do it themselves.

ENOUGH!  We do not need any more experts.  This country was established so that men could govern themselves.  Yes, at times we fail to be responsible in our duties, but if we have natural consequence (or Natural Law) occur, we will pick ourselves up, we will pick our neighbors up, and we will be able to rise to the occasion. This is the first principle of liberty. “The only reliable basis for sound government and just human relations is natural law.”

Experts need to remove themselves from our lives, and let the people get back to living, growing, and becoming the men and women that our God intended us to be … loving, giving stewards of this great land.

Moreover, we should still be innocent until proven guilty.

A Bit of a New Direction

A BIT OF A NEW DIRECTION

June 1, 2010 by Jonathan | Edit

Those who know me know that I have recently undergone a dramatic change in my life.  I had the blessing of awakening to an understanding of the principles of liberty and the awful situation that we are in due to our choices and how they place our liberties in jeopardy.  It amazes me how blindly I walked through life until recently.  Thankfully, I recognized my opportunity to change.  It was an opportunity to replace an incorrect worldview based on emotion and tradition with a sound foundation based on truth and principles.

Canadian turned U.S. Citizen Gives Words to Her Fellow-Americans

by: Karen Mecham

When I first came to the States from Canada, I realized Americans had a strength I wanted to cultivate. Then I realized it was so ingrained in each person that few even knew they had it. I think, today, it’s the best kept secret in the nation. So for your information, here it is:

You can only push Americans so far, then they push back HARD!!!!

If you don’t believe me, here are some instances that will convince you.

Remember the Alamo?

Remember Pearl Harbor?

Remember 9-11?

So I say to all who will hear:

Remember who you are!  It’s time to fight for the right.  Demand honesty and integrity from our leaders — no matter which party they represent.  Demand fairness and integrity from Corporate America.

It’s time to haul out our pioneer values, dust them off, practice them ourselves, and expect them from everyone else.

If you want more regulation — start regulating yourself first!

If you don’t buy higher interest rates — they’ll come down.
If you demand fairer gas prices and speak up at the pump to the distributors — prices will come down.

Stop being the silent majority — Act and speak. You have the power. When you speak with your purchasing dollars and your vote, they will listen.

Get out of debt! And stay out!

As they said in the Great Depression:

Use it up
Wear it out
Make it do
Or do without

It’s time to push back —–Hard.

Do Schools Kill Creativity?

By Jacqueline Smith

Our education system in America must change.  We continue to tax the people to school our children in a broken, progressive, socialistic system.  I love education, and I love all the children in this great country, but an unsustainable system that is not producing the results we need in our country must end, and a new system emerge, or more accurately re-emerge.

Dr. Brooks

I recently attended a wonderful event called ReValue America.  This class was taught by Dr. Shanon Brooks of Face to Face with Greatness, and hosted by Chad & Christy Watterson.  Because I have known Dr. Brooks for some time, the information was not unfamiliar but reminded me of the path I must take in order to put the values, the culture, the Americanism back into the heart of our country.  And it begins with a different type of education for the whole family.

We school our children in literacy and skills.  We want them to have good jobs.  But we have killed their creativity.  We have thwarted the genius that all children have within, by saying they must have these skills, or those skills, without any core values, without a sense of the virtues that keep our country headed the right direction.  Throwing good money after a bad system will not fix our problems.  (School Equalization is just a bad bandage to a bleeding artery, that pulls at the heart-strings, but is not the solution.)  Money does not make children’s test scores increase.  It has been proven that our rate of return for our dollar is not very high, especially in areas like Detroit, but even in Utah we are only seeing about a 67% ROI.  (67 out of 100 children graduate)  So what happened?  Are the teachers that horrible, are the classes that under-funded?  No.  We have lost our culture over the last 80 years in America, and we must get our culture back.  Attending this class and implementing a new way of thinking and a new lifestyle of education will be the greatest impact on liberty.  I call upon 9.12 groups, tea party groups, and all other liberty-loving groups to schedule this event.  If we are going to be the ones that bring liberty back to our country, we better understand more than just the founders writings, but what the founders were reading for a decade before they became founders.  We will need an understanding much richer than anything we have received to date.

The Fourth Turning is upon us, and our time is limited.  In order to have the type of impact on our society that great leaders of the past have had on their time, we must be educated in human nature, forms of government, family and society.  We must have public virtue being exemplified in our society again, and being taught to our children.  We must understand what it takes and begin getting a liberal arts education.  (Don’t worry, that will not make you a liberal in political terms.)  I discussed this on capitol hill at the Tax Day Tea Party Rally.

I don’t have the answers, but I know that together we can find the answers, if we are educated.  We have an amazing group of people who have created a strong coalition with Utah Rising, but our efforts must not be lost by focusing only in the political arena.  Glenn Beck has it right when he discusses the 9 Principles and 12 Values.  We must focus on bringing that type of thinking back into the forefront of our country.

If you live in the Utah area, and you are interested in attending one of these classes, I ask that you send us an email, so we can keep you on a list until our class is put on the schedule.

I have had this video for a while, but I thought it appropriate with this article.  Enjoy.
